Over ten years ago our family decided to leave the hustle and bustle of the California Coast to put down roots in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Saying adios to the coast and hello to a new life in mountain time, we came to Hot Springs bringing our taste and love for wine, appreciation for delicious cuisine, and above all else, the dream of opening a business our whole family could take part in.

Being new to the world of entreprenuerialism, we started small, literally, in a drive-thru coffee kiosk serving gourmet hot and iced beverages and fresh fruit smoothies. Soon enough we made a name for ourselves and had quite the morning crowd that rolled through our business each day. This got us thinking...perhaps we could offer some food to wash those drinks down with. The rest, as they say, is history.

As time often does, it has changed us from where we were, and fortunately enough, allowed us to grow into the business we are today. Our family has been blessed with the opportunity to expand our coffee kiosk to our current restaurant location, giving us the freedom to provide the great folks of Hot Springs and the many tourists this area sees an exceptional dining experience.

So on behalf of our family and our friends that make up Woolly's Grill & Cellar, we invite you to dine with us and help to write the next chapter of Woolly's Grill & Cellar.

It's All About Hospitality...

Woolly’s Grill & Cellar is a family owned and operated restaurant. As such, we believe in extending the same gracious environment of our own dinner table to you, our guests.

We believe in hospitality, hospitality that consists of a welcoming atmosphere for the entire family, a helpful and courteous staff serving you in a fun environment.

We believe in serving you great food, food that is as flavorful as your life.

We believe in serving the community, and those who are visitors of it.

We believe each one of us has been put on the earth for a purpose, and we believe our purpose is to serve you. Whether it’s a family meal or a family reunion, a place to have a business lunch or a place for your organization to meet, a night off from cooking or an oasis for tired travelers, it is our pleasure to serve you in any way we can.

We believe in the golden rule, plain and simple.

We believe in the power of gratitude, as we have so much to be thankful for. On that note, in a world that provides you so many options, we thank you for choosing our family’s restaurant.
